Where to Stay

Airbnb

Make the most out Southern California and the amazing weather by staying close to Anaheim, Huntington Beach, or Long Beach if you want to be closer to LA. We are so lucky to be so close to the beach, mountain, and desert. There are so many great options to explore so you can’t go wrong.

Our Favorite Eats

After a hike, a bowl from Blue Bowl is acai-lutely amazing. Whether you go with the Lazy Blue or your own custom bowl, you’ll end up feeling refreshed, renewed, and restored. There are locations all over Orange County, just find the nearest one to you!

Sit down, grab a pint, and wait for Friday night to come because Brewery X is one of my favorite breweries to indulge in. You can’t go wrong with any of their brews, but the secret is all of the delicious food trucks inside (highly recommend the pizza, we get it every single time).

Directions

Throw up that confetti because we celebrating! We have a sweet spot for Confetti aha because it is delicious and is Vietnamese-owned. They have the best customer service and are always so positive when welcoming us in. If HeyBings is too crowded, walk over (they’re in the same plaza lol)!

Are you near the beach, are hungry, want a nice cocktail and good vibes? Look no further than Fable and Spirit, one of our favorite upscale restaurants. Perfect for a group or just two, Fable and Spirit is sure to please, plus you’re about a 5 minute drive from the Instagram famous Seaside Bakery.

Did someone say dessert? Korea’s bingsoo doesn’t have anything on HeyBings. We know because we tried it ourselves in Seoul. There is just something in the shaved ice that makes you want more. It must be a special condensed milk because yummyyy. There is never any seating available so you know it’s good. It’s a must try while you’re in OC!

Ini

If you’ve been around the Garden Grove/Fountain Valley area long enough, you’ve probably heard of Kei Concepts, and you’ve probably heard a lot about Ini. Known for its fusion of Italian and Japanese cuisine, this restaurant is new but its impact is huge. If you know a certain chef with the initials PL, you can ask him for some recommendations.

There’s nothing like starting off your day with a Vietnamese coffee and warm banh mi. It feels like a slice of home and a little bit of Southern CA. This is a classic example of fusion and one of the best around town. It’s often crowded so make that reservation asap.

You can read Kim’s Yelp review to get an idea of what she really thinks.

Nexx Burger

A tradition we enjoy doing is getting fast food after a nice meal or event together. It’s something we always have to do now to satiate our cravings. Kim’s hot take is that it’s better than In n Out. Yup, she said it but animal fries are still top tier though. You can’t deny the quality and value. Hey, we might even end up there after the wedding. See you there?

Directions

There’s nothing like starting of the day with a cup of Vietnamese coffee (jinx) because it will have an entire day’s worth of caffeine in one delicious cup. You really can’t go wrong with the classic Ca Phe Sua Da, but more adventurous minded folks might enjoy the Banana Coffee or the Melon Matcha Latte.

Things to Do

Take me out to the ball game and come enjoy America's favorite pastime at Angel's Stadium! The Angels are a staple to Orange County sports and tickets can go as low as $9 per ticket. If you're lucky and the Angels score 7 ore more runs at home, there's a free Chick-fil A sandwich waiting for you in the app.

Make the most of your trip by exploring the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach! Home to over 12,000 ocean creatures, this incredible aquarium offers interactive exhibits, stunning marine life, and a chance to get up close with sharks, sea otters, and jellyfish. Whether you're walking through the breathtaking tunnel of the Tropical Pacific Gallery or touching stingrays in the outdoor pools, it's a fun and memorable experience for all ages.

Ah the land of Disney, where dreams come true. Put on your Mickey ears and grab that SPF because we’re going to Disney. Home to whimsical eats and even more adventurous rides. It is the hotspot in Anaheim. The walk into Main Street is just pure nostalgia. While you’re there, you gotta get yourself a churro, cheesy pretzel bread, and a spicy corndog.

Come on down to Buena Park and enjoy California's first theme park. For the thrill seekers, the roller coasters here will not disappoint whether you go with Xcelerator, Silver Bullet, or GhostRider. If that's not your cup of tea, why not head over to Camp Snoopy and take a few photos with the Peanuts gang?

If you’re hungry, there are plenty of offerings inside and outside the park, but we recommend Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant with some crispy and juicy fried chicken.

Step back in time and experience the vintage charm of Old Towne Orange, the historic heart of Orange County. Known for its beautifully preserved buildings, antique shops, and lively atmosphere, this quaint district feels like a small-town escape in the middle of the city. Take a stroll around the iconic Orange Plaza, where you’ll find a mix of locally owned boutiques, cozy cafés, and some of the best antique stores in SoCal. With its friendly vibe, historic charm, and endless places to explore, Old Towne Orange is the perfect spot for a leisurely afternoon or a fun date day. We had our first date here, so you’ll definitely enjoy it too!
